“Musik ist alles für mich. Ich habe zwei Scheidungen hinter mir und bin durch eine Welt voller Scheiße, aufgrund von Musik, gegangen, aber Musik ist immer noch die wichtigste Sache der Welt für mich. Ich bevorzuge Musik vor allem anderen.“
So spricht Peter Tägtgren, Musiker, Produzent und der kreative Kopf, der hinter PAIN steckt, Schwedens bestem Industrial Metal Export. Er hat sein Leben in Musik getaucht, er hat Grenzen überwunden und Ideen gehabt in beiderlei Hinsicht, logisch und unlogisch. Es ist eine Karriere, die führende Bands involviert – insbesondere die Death Metal Band HYPOCRISY, und nun PAIN – schon allein die Gestaltung seiner Klänge nennenswert, so wie er es mit CELTIC FROST, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DIMMU BORGIR, IMMORTAL und einigen anderen getan hat. Es ist eine Berufung, die ihn zu einem der angesehensten Musiker und Produzenten Europas macht.Schon von Beginn an überzeugte die Band mit Alben wie „Pain“, „Rebirth“, „Nothing Remains The Same“, „Dancing With The Dead“ und „Psalms Of Extinction“. Nach einer langen Tour für das erfolgreiche PAIN Album „Cynic Paradise“, hüpfte Tätgren zurück zu HYPOCRISY, veröffentliche ein anderes Album und ging sofort damit auf die Straße. Jetzt, mit dem achten Album, wird PAIN die Welt im Sturm erobern – ein weiteres Mal! Auch wenn wenn der Klang im bekannten Schema verläuft, ist „You Only Live Twice“ mit Abstand der härteste und meist aggressive Erfolg in der Geschichte der Band – die Death-Metal-Wurzeln der Gruppe können sich auf jeden Fall hören lassen. Aber PAIN wäre nicht PAIN, wenn es keine eingängigen, hymnischen Songs gäbe – wie zum Beispiel die erste Hit Single „Dirty Woman“, die über die Art von rücksichtlosen Frauen handelt, mit denen Joe nichts zu tun haben möchte (siehe Zitat oben). Sei es eingängig, sei es brutal – spiel es laut und grab dich in die dunkelste, härtesteste und aggressivste Seite von PAIN!
Nach dem gewaltigen Erfolg von Peters LINDEMANN-Projekt mit RAMMSTEIN-Sänger Till Lindemann zog er sich zurück und nahm sich Zeit, um ein weiteres Industrial Metal-Statement namens »Coming Home« zu schreiben. Die Veröffentlichung der Scheibe ist für den September 2016 über Nuclear Blast angesetzt. Das Artwork wurde von Stefan Heilemann gestaltet.

Since 2013, DUST IN MIND are leading the female fronted Nu-Industrial-Metal scene from France.DUST IN MIND are from Strasbourg and this 5-piece presents a unique visual and crushing show.After many shows as support with MACHINE HEAD, EVERGREY, SAMAEL …, the band signed on the German label DARKTUNES Music Group (Sony / Soulfood).Following the success of their album „Never Look Back“ in 2015, crowned and recognized by the International press (METAL HAMMER, LEGACY, ROCK HARD, ORKUS, METALLIAN …), DUST IN MIND is back with their new album „Oblivion“, (Available April 7, 2017).==> Again the time has come to blow up the dust, until there is no stone left standing!DUST IN MIND are back and are auguring a heatwave for the upcoming spring! Whoever has thought after the great debut-album “Never Look Back” that this was all they got, will be disabused with the new firework of an album, namely “Oblivion”. Like they already have signalized in 2015 there is only one direction for the French musicians: straight forward!
We are not only presented a new album by DUST IN MIND but rather a wholly new world full of grotesque images and stories, that put their finger directly into the wound of all those topics, that let our time in no respect seem to be less surreal than the picture that the band from Strasbourg has drawn in their new masterpiece.
“Oblivion” is full of hardness, emotion and a mixture of the genius of icons like KORN, PAIN or KATATONIA, and is hereby creating a sound that still is bearing the hallmarks of the French musicians. On top of that, four of the ten new tracks are accompanied by effortful and gorgeous music-videos, that nobody should miss.
Like the phoenix from the ashes DUST IN MIND arise again, and are even more beautiful, louder, and more focused than ever before.

FEARANCY (AT)
Fearancy is an Austrian metal band formed in Hartberg (Styria) in 2014. The musical style consists of elements out of several different types of metal, including groove, thrash, melodic death and industrial metal. Fearancy is influenced by bands of different metal sections, including DevilDriver, Fear Factory, In Flames and Machine Head, but mostly focuses on groovy riffs, melodic vocal lines and synths. The name can be seen as a combination of elements like „fear“, “fancy” and „frequency“ which are also part in the lyrics. In particular the main theme of the lyrics deals with real or surreal anxieties and schizophrenic states of mind.
